Hype creation around creative work is a feud. Work on what you do and work hard. It is all that should matter. Let the public decide if your work is worth while when it's ready. Your work should bring joy to you foremost.
It should make you feel the tingling's. It's your stomach that should twirl with excitement. Your work should work for yourself first before anything. If it does share it with the rest and if its good you wont need to create hype.
Remember when you first saw the Matrix. When you first used the brush paint. The windows machine. It worked and it was the most beautiful experience. There was no hype.
Aim that.
